As a teenager, I found passion and community in cycling through riding and racing with local clubs. 12 years ago, my very first job was as a bike shop mechanic in Huntington Beach, CA. I have been active in the bike industry ever since. As a mechanic for a global bike retailer, I have the opportunity to work on emergent technologies, which makes my skills for repair and troubleshooting both highly relevant and efficient. I honed my skills from front-line mechanic work, and now function as an educator for the next generation of bike mechanics. I am an expert in my field.
